Devonshire Terrace

City bars are not really my style – based on the fact that I wear dirty converse to work a lot of the time – but when one of your friends happens to be the Assistant Manager, sometimes you have to go to these places.

Devonshire Terrace is actually lovely for an after-work drink close to Liverpool Street and the outside area is very nice for a few cocktails with friends. It’s always buzzing but you can normally get a seat, and the staff (I am a bit biased) are amazing at their jobs. Really professional and good-fun at the same time.

It is a bit pricey but I don’t think their target customers have to worry about that, and for us mere mortals it’s certainly not out of bounds!

Definitely recommend it for a Thursday night drinking session!
